Welcome to Elite Narcotic Investigations Training and Consulting Group, LLC! I'm Michelle Lord, founder and trainer of Elite Narcotic Investigations Training and Consulting Group.

Experience:

I have accumulated over 8 years of comprehensive experience in the field of law enforcement, with a significant focus on drug-related investigations and the complex challenges presented by fatal drug poisoning cases. Currently, I hold the position of sergeant in a specialized drug enforcement task force unit that is funded by the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) program, where I work diligently on the opioid task force initiatives. In this role, I am responsible for overseeing the agency's critical investigations into fatal drug poisoning incidents, ensuring that each case receives the attention it merits. My extensive background encompasses service as a federal task force agent, where I engaged in investigating drug poisoning cases that spanned multiple states. This experience has involved working undercover, managing long-term case investigations, and employing techniques such as wiretaps to gather essential evidence. In addition to my investigative responsibilities, I am dedicated to training law enforcement professionals across the nation to enhance their skills in this important area. Before embarking on my law enforcement career, I served as an elementary school teacher and trainer, specializing in math instruction. I hold a Master's Degree in teaching and have considerable experience in developing curricula across a variety of subjects.

Training Approach:

In our training courses, you'll engage in scenario-based training simulating real-life situations, providing practical strategies and essential knowledge for narcotic investigations. These classes emphasize case studies, legal aspects, and tactical considerations crucial for success, helping officers excel in their roles.

Our classes are distinctly different from typical law enforcement trainings, which often include filler videos and war stories. I have designed them specifically to impart practical strategies for conducting successful drug investigations that are directly linked to fatal drug poisonings. Participants will leave with a variety of take aways to include organizers and check lists to ensure success in the field.
